Attached are 10 songs, your task is to design a full colour 10in x 10in piece for each song. You may NOT use any photos or detailed images, you may abstract an image and use a flat symbol. Your pieces can be completely abstract, impressionistic or surrealistic. Refrain form using any detailed shading or gradients, try to make your designs as flat as possible. In five of your pieces include the title of the song and the name of the artist, in the remaining 5 DO NOT use any text. Mount each piece of work on black cartridge paper with a border of 2in.

All 10 pieces are due next class

I am befuddled, flabbergasted, perplexed..... confused at the lack of comment support on Google Sites. I would assume in this the era of Web 2.0 that a simple feature such as leaving a comment would be akin to free speech (not free as in beer). I have been reading the discussion boards and i now realize that this is a long standing problem, i certainly hope a solution is in sight. I am planning to implement a very crude work around that does not involve carrier pigeons (Greenpeace would have a field day). I intend to use the old school method of a comment page. So check the menu bar on the left for a "leave a comment" link.

I haven't figured out if this is out of laziness or efficiency, but i have decided to use google's site tool to get a site for myself up and running again. I realize at some point i'll have to actually design something myself and put it up, but for the meantime this seems to be the path of least resistance.

For my students this site will contain assignments, course outlines, lecture notes and various handouts. I will also attempt to post the various stages of my current projects for the benifit of both my students and my fellow team members.

Feel free to bug me if you have a question or sugestion..... or simply to remind me to up date this site.
